The first 12 months of a child’s life are when you see the most changes in their growth and development.
Physically, they learn to: roll over, sit up, crawl in different variations, walk, use their large and small muscle groups, finger grasps, and more!
Verbally, they learn to: make sounds, babble, speak, express, learn multiple sounds if learning multiple languages, and learn to express.
They also learn to transition from liquids to solids, understand likes and dislikes, recognize individuals around them, get accustomed to their life and much more!
Infant (Cubs)
6 Weeks to 12 Months
With all the changes that are occurring, we want to make sure that the little one is hitting all major milestones.
You might ask, “What if my child is not hitting major milestones?”
This is where Future Thinkers Academy comes in! We do assessments every month that tell us where the little one has reached physically and socially emotionally. Based on the assessments, we create a lesson plan to help the little one hit all milestones, small and big!
Having a plan based specifically to your child’s needs is what makes the difference! Children grow at their own rate, and we want to make sure they are meeting each goal!
We even partner with speech therapists, occupational therapists, and other specialities to give a wholesome experience to approach the developmental process in the best way possible.
Future Thinkers Academy a place where you do not miss a single moment of your child’s growth!
Infant Program Focus
Our infant program ensures that babies receive the personal one-on-one attention that they need to develop trust for the world around them. Infants are engaged, talked to, sang to, held, and cuddled throughout the day. We work closely with parents to develop each infant's daily schedule, which includes sleeping plans, eating plans, likes, dislikes, and milestone assessments. Flexibility with infants is key, and our staff understands and appreciates this fact. With our understanding and knowledge, we have the information we need to plan engaging activities for babies and understand what to expect from infants of different developmental levels as we focus on building positive relationships, strengthening their fine and gross motor abilities, sensory learning, and growth.
